The Sutton Story

Kit and Sue joined the Sutton franchise in 2003 because they recognized the innovative and independent ideas of the Sutton System and felt it matched their own philosophies. Embracing the Sutton System wholeheartedly combined with their extensive sales experience and market knowledge has enabled Kit and Sue to build a solid foundation for success. Starting out of their home in 2003, their quick success had them moving offices several times to fit the growing Sutton-Harrison family. In 2014, and with an eye on the future, Sutton-Harrison Realty moved to 99-18th Street. This custom-made office space was designed to be welcoming, convenient, efficient, innovative, making it attractive to clients and associates alike. It’s important to note that the focus of Sutton-Harrison Realty is based on three core principles:

  • Developing long-term relationships built on loyalty with clients & associates
  • Focusing on individual customer needs, and
  • Understanding local real estate markets.

The Sutton-Harrison team currently consists of 30 associates and growing! We pride ourselves on our team’s high level of professionalism and integrity. Our office currently employs two staff members who assist our associates with day-to-day paperwork, marketing initiatives, accounting and training. Sales Training & Coaching

Sutton understands that its success is determined by the achievements of each of its associates. A career in real estate should be financially and personally rewarding. We know that each individual learns at their own pace so all training is custom-tailored to each individual with many different coaching, training and learning opportunities available. Marketing, Technology & Social Media Training

Marketing is making yourself known, getting the word out about who you are and what you do. Marketing is being remembered. To market yourself, you need a marketing plan. Sutton-Harrison Realty is proud to be the only local real estate company to offer an in-house marketing design and planning program. Our staff will provide, at no extra charge to you, a custom marketing plan, custom feature sheets and other real estate related promo items, custom ads for newspaper and other similar publications, tips on how to successfully utilize social media and much more. This includes training in sales and technology, no matter what level you are at. Keeping in mind that Sutton was the first real estate company in Canada to provide its associates with a personal email and custom websites as the internet gained popularity in the 1990’s, today at Sutton-Harrison Realty we pride ourselves on always being innovative and knowledgeable about technology and the ways to implement it into our everyday business, keeping us ahead of our competition.

The commission structure at Sutton-Harrison Realty is unlike any other company. We believe in rewarding the agents for their success so we have custom built our commission rates, fees and schedules on this philosophy.
